About the Port of Mossel Bay
Mossel Bay is the smallest of the eight Transnet commercial ports, on the Garden Route halfway between Cape Town and Gqeberha. Its commercial backbone is liquid fuels — serving the PetroSA gas-to-liquids refinery via offshore single-buoy moorings and tanker berths — plus a busy fishing harbour and an offshore oil-and-gas supply base.
