1. General information only

The content, guides, calculators and tools on tradecaravan.co.za are provided for general information and do not constitute professional, legal, tax, customs or financial advice. Rates, duties, thresholds and rules change frequently; always verify against the primary source (for example SARS, ITAC, the SARB or your professional adviser) before acting.

2. Tracking, vessel & ETA data

Vessel positions, voyage information and estimated times of arrival shown in Real-View come from third-party sources (including AIS providers, shipping lines and port/terminal feeds). This data is provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness, currency or timeliness, and can be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on it alone for time-critical decisions; confirm with your carrier, forwarder or terminal.

3. Calculators & estimates

Duty, VAT, freight, carbon-tax and similar calculators give indicative estimates based on the inputs you provide and assumptions that may not fit your situation. They are not a tariff determination or a binding quote. Only a formal written determination from SARS, or a quote from your service provider, is authoritative.

4. Third-party links

We link to third-party websites for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.

5. Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information, tools or data on the Service. This disclaimer is subject to the rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act for the consumers it protects, and should be read with our Terms of Use.
