A SARS accreditation for traders with proven compliance records and secure supply chains, aligned with the World Customs Organization SAFE framework. Accredited importers, exporters and clearing agents get tangible benefits: fewer inspections, faster clearances, a dedicated SARS relationship manager and easier access to facilities like deferment. It grew out of SARS's Preferred Trader programme and is worth pursuing for any volume importer with clean compliance history.
