Signing In

Use your existing Trade Caravan account to enter Realview — no second password.

Realview uses your Trade Caravan account as its single sign-on. If you can sign in to tradecaravan.co.za, you can use Realview — there is no separate Realview password to remember.

The normal way: Continue to Realview

  1. Sign in to Trade Caravan as usual (magic link or GitHub).
  2. Open the Realview page on Trade Caravan.
  3. Click Continue to Realview.
  4. You are redirected to realview.tradecaravan.co.za and signed in automatically, landing on your dashboard.
Behind the scenes Realview is handed a short-lived, signed token that proves who you are and which plan you are on. It lasts about a minute and can only be used once, so the link is safe and you never type a password on the Realview side.

The backup way: magic link

If you are already on the Realview sign-in screen, you can request a magic link instead: enter your email and Realview emails you a one-time sign-in link. The link is valid for a short window (about 15 minutes); open it on the same device and you are in.

Setting up your own sign-in (first time)

The very first time you arrive by magic link, Realview helps you set up a direct login so you can return quickly without waiting for an email:

  1. Create a password. You set it once and confirm it — your browser will offer to save it. Next time you can sign in with just your email and password.
  2. Set up two-factor authentication (2FA). You scan a QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password and the like) and enter the 6-digit code it shows.
  3. Save your recovery codes. Realview shows a set of one-time backup codes — keep them somewhere safe; they are how you get back in if you ever lose your authenticator.

If you arrive through Continue to Realview (single sign-on), you skip the password step — your Trade Caravan account is already your identity — but you still set up 2FA the first time.

Staying secure: two-factor is required

Two-factor authentication is required for every Realview account. After your first setup, each new sign-in asks for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app as well as your password (or after the SSO handoff). It cannot be switched off — it is part of keeping shipment data protected. Also keep your Trade Caravan email account secure, since that is what unlocks both products.

During the testing period Realview access is limited while we finish the launch. If Continue to Realview sends you back to the "launching soon" page, your account is not yet on the early-access list — it is not an error. Watch the Realview page for the public-launch announcement.
